About Me

Welcome to Running With Randi!

Hi, I’m Randi! I live in the Charleston, SC area with my husband, our 2 boys, and our 2 hound dogs.  My husband is a military veteran and a first responder serving on both our fire and police departments, while I stay home with our boys and run my coaching business. I have been running for over 18 years (more than half my life!), and I am passionate about all things running! I am actively pursing my RRCA (Road Runners Club of America) Coach certification and looking to help others along their running journey. Running is my passion because it completely transformed my life. I love helping others find their way, find their strength, surprise themselves, and write their story!

My Story

When I was 12 years old, I was trying to figure out who I was and my place in the world. I didn’t fit in anywhere. I was lost. I was unsettled.

And then I found running.

At first I didn’t identify as a runner. I wasn’t fast enough; I didn’t have a runner’s body; I wasn’t good enough. All the doubts and insecurities settled in, and I questioned myself every time I set off to run down the quiet street with the shaded cul-de-sac. But through the doubt, I soon realized that running gave me something – it gave me confidence, strength, power, and freedom.

During those early runs, I became a runner. I started my journey – a journey of self-discovery – and as the years passed and the miles added up, I began to figure out who I was and where I fit into this world. I slowly started writing my story as I struggled through those early miles. 18 years later, I continue writing my story because, Every Run Tells a Story.
